Okay, when Epsilon said "just start from the beginning", York was inclined to agree, but that is...so much. Maine? Maine went batshit and killed almost all their friends and took their AIs? Well, York always had her reservations about Sigma, crafty motherfucker that he was, and Maine was always a few screws short, but still...shit. It doesn't feel good to hear. The part where Delta's supposed to have been EMPed out of existence gives her the chills, too, even knowing he's here, even tracing her fingers over the chip in her implant.
"Jesus," she mutters, pressing her hands to her forehead. Delta's helping her sort through all this information, but it's a lot to him, too. All that time...she really must have been dead, or surely they'd have crossed paths by now.
She does have questions — a couple of deeply personal questions, actually — but for once, she's not really sure how to ask them, and she's not entirely sure she can weather the answers, either. Epsilon gives Carolina a little look that carries a world of smugness.
"See? Not so hard after all. Now all you've gotta do is talk about your feelings. Aaaand I'm out."
