“Okay, okay,” Carolina says, and gets into it. She goes over the crash, Wash, the Meta and its defeat, all the way up to the war on Chorus. She looks a little drained when she’s all done.

“That’s why we’re surprised Delta is here,” she explains after a long moment. “We thought he was taken out after the Meta got him, like the rest of the AIs except for Epsilon.” There’s a pause. “Do you, uh, have any questions?”
